So I took a drawing class, a computer art class, and my personal favorite, sculpture.
We'll start with drawing. Most of the work we did in this class was just exercises on perspective, vanishing points, value, cubes, spheres...boring stuff. But some things toward the end we got to draw actual pictures that I ended up being rather proud of. The first is charcoal and the next four are graphite and the last one is in pen.
In my next post I'll move on to sculpture. But I'd love to hear critiques on these!
Oh and just to let everyone know, my experience with MS seems to be going just fine. I'm taking my shot everyday and looking forward to whenever the day comes that my doctor will tell me that there is now a pill instead of a shot! (Everytime I see him he tells me they are working on a pill.) But other than that, I really don't even feel like I have MS! It can get irritating sometimes because I will feel off in some way and I don't know if it has to do with MS or not. Usually it will kinda feel like my eye prescription is off or something like that, and I don't know if it's because of MS goings on, or if it's just natural eye functions. But I really have nothing to complain about. Life is wonderful, and I'm a happy girl.
I'll post again soon (I promise this time) with pictures of sculptures!

SHMABOOYAH.
That's what I'm talking about, van gogurt.
I realize it's more nerve-racking for the artist to put their own stuff out there, but for the rest of us, this is super sweet- As we toil through this waking life, it is enlightening to behold your works of genius.
I like all the pencil drawings, but for some reason the ink one is my favorite. I think it's because where they are all softer and shadowed, the ink is strong and confident, like you mean what your saying.
Anyway, I expect to see four billion more in the next 24 hours.
Thanks.
Buhrilliant!!! Really, quite amazing. I love pencil sketches and what you can do with shading, etc. Wow. Really inspiring for my houseful of budding artists, as well! I'll post some of Sara's latest work and then you can tell me if she has any potential to follow in your footsteps!
Oh My gosh! I had no idea you were even interested in art, let alone good at it. I love them and can't wait to see the next chapter.
When Uncle Steve was in the second grade, his teacher told me she could tell he had unusual artistic ability because he put fingers on the hands of his stick figures. When Uncle Mike was the same age, HIS teacher told me about his collage making: he sat at his desk tearing pieces of colored paper, smearing glue on the back and smacking it on the bigger colored sheet. When asked what he was making, he identified it as a dragon, which cause his friends to hoot because they couldn't see it. Once it went up on the wall and they saw it from a distance, the dragon was very evident. You definitely got your artistic ability from your Mom, but it runs in the family. You GO, girl. We definitely want to keep seeing more.
