A little bit of an update...

Well seeing as I haven't written in a while, I figured this would be a good time to update my life.

I've been working at Trader Joe's all summer and I love it! Good job, great people to work with and I love working with mom, it makes work a lot more enjoyable!

Well a few weeks ago, I started feeling a pins and needles feeling in my fingers of my left hand. I went to a chiropractor and it went away for a few days. Then unfortunately, my entire left side went numb. Then one day while at work I realized that I was seeing double. Went back to the Chiropractor and he could help.

We went to our family practice doctor and she suggested I get an MRI. This was on July 2nd, so later that night I went down to the hospital to get an MRI but the doctor I saw suggested that I be admitted to the hospital and do enough tests for them to figure out exactly what was going on. I ended up staying until this morning (the 4th) and after a plethora of tests over the last couple days the doctors still do not have a definite diagnosis, but they all seem pretty certain that it is Multiple Sclerosis. At first when I heard this I was pretty scared but I got a bunch of VERY comforting nurses, and GREAT doctors, I really don't feel scared.

Every case of MS is different, so there's no way to tell what my situation will be. I'm not worried. I know my Heavenly Father is watching me and has a plan for me so if I can keep the eternal perspective in mind, I can keep all fear out.

I thanks all my family for the prayers sent my way. I really felt the love and spirit while in the hospital. I love you all very much!!!

I'll be sure to update with details when they come!

Dear Cindy Lou Who!
You have several very specific examples of people who have faced a challenge like this and come through with grace and dignity, starting with your mother and one of your aunts, both of whose lives have been difficult. We have confidence that you will meet this situation with the good humor and courage you have always shown. You have really really big extended families in both directions who love you and who will be remembering you constantly in our prayers.
Love,
Grandma W.
